The Special Technical Education and Vocational Training (TVET) Program for Women is one of the government's initiatives to further improve the economy of women. The establishment of TVET Wanita JELITA Academics (Job Empowerment by Learning and Inclusive Techinal Advancement) will be able to produce more career-oriented, professional and competitive women.
Academic TVET Wanita JELITA can help and further improve women's skills by outlining various initiatives and incentives in realizing their economic development.
Majlis TVET Negara has aimed to increase 35 percent of the new highly skilled workforce in the economic sector by 2030. Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) and Kolej Universiti Agrosains Malaysia (UCAM) will act as the main coordinators and providers of TVET training specifically for women.
Dengan adanya hub untuk memperkasakan wanita di Malaysia ini, ia dapat meningkatkan kebolehan pasaran wanita di dalam menjana ekonomi negara dan alam pekerjaan.
